On June 3, 2009, Allan Mendelowitz, a Director at the Federal Housing Finance Board and a founding member of the Committee to Establish the National Institute of Finance, presented the NIF proposal at a symposium on Addressing Systemic Risk hosted by the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, DC.
